Being the main character of Pokemon, Pikachu is the soul of the entire anime.There are tons of different looks of Pikachu appears through the anime but the products seems to be less variety.In order to find out the images which those products based on, I collected the Pikachu products that still avalible and compare them with the original animation.The products should be seen as extension of the image while productize and made up for the lack.

However, I begin to wonder if these products are not merely just toys. They have been adjusted to fit in commercial considerations and market needs, and original image which should be identical to the products seems to fade away.

When I was a child, my parents worried me for addicted to TV programs so they blocked off the television with thick and heavy spring mattress, and the image of the anime become huge and important when I curled in the narrow space in between.    

This experience triggered my obssesion to Pikachu and I began to collect all kinds of Pikachu products. I thought these products could be an extension part of the image.

Through out repeated compare and examine, all the hollows images of the products that could not find anywhere in the original seems to suggest it is our common memories which being sacrificed.
