如果說創作是一種持續的關注，每個當下都是獨立的個體，一件作品的完成，正是另一件的開始…。

　　99年開始選擇了洗衣粉與水泥作為創作的素材，洗衣粉、水泥兩者皆是工業文明的產物，卻因其普遍深入生活之中，成為不可或缺的生活部份，當洗衣粉、水泥兩種材質同時與水的遇合分別產生凝結和溶解的反應，將氣味與屬性各自分明的兩種物質並置，看似突兀，在此賦予其自然的情感意涵，召喚起人們彼此的記憶片段，於是那有著強烈加工意(氣)味，從原本生冷的工業質材並置、混合到交雜、彼此牽制以至消逝，質材轉化後呈現的是當今進入機械文明後逐漸式微的人性溫度以及生命過程縮影。

　　對我而言，創作即是反應當下的某種狀態，如果藝術與生活應當是緊緊相扣，創作與環境的關係應是彼此滲透，藝術不再是知識思維技術的演練而是生命的本身！那麼「矯揉造作」即成為屬於這個時空環境下我的獨有寫照，如今當洗衣粉不再是洗衣粉，水泥也不再是水泥，在現實與夢想、可見與不可見之間，當你從華麗的地毯上看見那逐漸斑落的粉塊，那對比之間……我決定用我自己的方式說話。(陳松志-寫於矯揉造作個展之前2003)

　　　　If we said creation is a kind of continued concern and every moment is so individual and special. When I finally finish my work is the time I start a new one......

　　　　I chose washing powder and concrete as the material for creation since 1999. Washing powder and concrete both are generated from industrial society and they are essential in our diary life. When washing powder and concrete mix with water, they become two different style and smell of the washing powder water when we touch clean cloth, our memory for the pass life is easy to be recalled. I use the two materials to show the cooling down personal relationship culture and the process of a human life.

　　　　For me, creation reflects my situation at that moment. If art connects with life tightly, creation should interpenetrate with environment more closely. Art should be the life itself rather than the practice of knowledge and technology! Artificiality is my description of the nowadays environment. When washing powder and concrete mix with mater and change their style at the same time, it shows the confrontation of the dream and reality, visible and invisible......I decided to express in my own way.
