民國78年出生於台北

富裕平靜的童年和保守平凡的家庭環境，使得成年後的她對於家的叛逃、身分的可能性有極大的興趣。

而事實上，各種矛盾、情感豐富以及鑽牛角尖的性格，皆以繪畫方式獲得藝術家自己的正視，以繪畫回應自己的生存提問；幻想都在畫布上找到優於現實，更快、更強烈的探索。

目前擔任雍和藝術村駐村村長，亦擁有兼職工作，期望在今年可以開始小生意以支持創作及旅行。

CHUEH,CHIAO-HAN

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, 1989

A peaceful childhood and conservative up-bringing are factors that made Chiao-Han become interested in exploring the world beyond the ancestral land of Taiwan and made her question the possibility of changing one’s identity.  Her paintings examine the emotions of everyday modern life, their often contradictory natures, and the traditional values that we stubbornly hold on to.  She uses painting as a way to probe and analyze personal fantasies which resonate with in our public and private lives.  She currently works in the Yun-ho Art Residency, Taipei, and with a weekend part-time job, hopes to start up a small business to support painting and travel.
